PLATF9RM

PLATF9RM is Brighton & Hove’s largest independent coworking community of businesses and creative entrepreneurs, known for its lively and collaborative culture.

BRAND & MARKETING DIRECTOR (Nov 2021 – Present)

Board member and part of the leadership team working closely with the CEO. Responsible for setting and overseeing the overall brand and marketing strategy as head of the Creative team. Most recently leading on a refresh and relaunch of the PLATF9RM website due early 2022. Our spaces are fully recovered from COVID-19 and we are now at 1000 members and operating a waiting list.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR (Sep 2019 – Nov 2021)

Developed the PLATF9RM brand and created pitch decks for investment and new buildings alongside the CEO. Part of the leadership team to bring PLATF9RM through the COVID-19 crisis. Kept membership engaged, loyal and connected; created and grew new revenue streams through online webinars; and established new and strong partnerships with local authorities.

INTERIM GENERAL MANAGER (Dec 2017 – Sep 2019)

Operations

  • P&L responsibility – monthly revenue reaching £220k
  • Average operating profit of 35%
  • Led an operational team of 13 to grow membership from 178 to 850
  • Industry low churn rates, averaging at 2.5%
  • Over 20,000 visitors through our doors
  • NPS score of 72
  • Heavily involved in £1M fit out of Hove Ground Floor space
  • Opened The Grounds cafe, bar and events space
 

Creative, Brand & Marketing

  • Directed brand, marketing, CRM and social media agencies
  • Relaunch of the PLATF9RM brand in March 2019 alongside Studio Makgill
  • Managed designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers to develop the brand
  • Curated a leading, varied, well attended events programme for members and the wider community
  • Co Founded Kickass Women Festival
  • Launched a new CRM system
MEMBERSHIP MANAGER (Dec 2016 – Nov 2017)

Part of the opening team that grew member numbers from 0 to 178 while creating a sense of community, curating the culture and designing and hosting events and partnerships. Pre-sold 75% of 6,000 sqft newly fitted office space at our Brighton site and 80% of 6,000 sqft newly fitted office space at our Hove site.

Designed and built the PLATF9RM website and worked with the content and social media team to create a strong lead flow. Created a strong on and offline community.


BRIGHTON CREATIVES LTD

Brighton Creatives was founded as a platform to promote the creatives of Brighton & Hove.
